THE BUSINESS HISTORY

	Cariss Printing established 1979 in Essendon.
	Due to expansion Cariss Printing is now based in Tullamarine, North West of Melbourne.
	Over the past couple of years Cariss Printing has undergone considerable change. Michael continues to work in the business but now enjoys semi-retirement having sold his interest in Cariss Printing to his son Blair Cariss.
	More recently, Garth Malone has entered into partnership with Blair Cariss.
	Blair, who originally completed his printing apprenticeship at Cariss Printing, returned in 2005 and now co-manages the business with Garth Malone.

THE DIRECTORS

Cariss Printing is a family company, majority owned and managed by Blair Cariss. Garth Malone has recently come on board as a part owner and co-manages the business with Blair.

Both Blair and Garth take a hands-on approach in the day-to-day running of the business.

Blair, with his printing background, brings expert knowledge of the printing process and ensures excellence with the highest of quality control. His expertise is further enhanced by his international Print experience in Heidelberg, Germany.

Garth joined the business in 2008, having relocated his family from rural Victoria to Melbourne to join Cariss Printing. He has worked in the printing industry over the past 10 years with primary roles in production management, quality control, sales and quoting/estimating.

Together, Blair and Garth pride themselves on exemplary customer service and optimal management of every print job that comes through the door. They believe that by taking the time to fully understand and listen to their clients that this enables them to respond very astutely to the individual needs of their customers.
